Employee Spotlight – August 2024
In our Employee Spotlight for August is Shunte Guthrie, Resident Care Coordinator. Shunte is from Atlanta, Georgia, and grew up with one brother. While in high school, Shunte took a Health and Human Services course that enabled her to get her CNA license. After she graduated from high school, Shunte went to Florida A & M University for 2 years. Next, she studied and got her CMA license which means she is trained to give meds and do additional care.
Shunte has one 13-year-old son, Zyire. She says they just enjoy spending time together at home. Like most 13-year-olds, Zyire likes video games, running, soccer, and Karate, which keeps Shunte busy taking him to games and practices. In her spare time, Shunte enjoys going to the beach and reading.
Shunte just started working here at Woodland Ridge and she already has made many new friends.
