Meet Emma, our inspiring Employee at Woodland Ridge Assisted Living!
Emma lived in Peru, where her father served in ministry. Her family moved to Georgia when she was just three years old, settling in Cobb County. Raised in a close-knit household with her parents and older sister, Emma cherishes the strong foundation her family provided. Sundays were always especially filled with laughter, card games, and lunch at her grandparents’ house, a tradition that continues to this day.
From a young age, Emma was active in sports, including basketball, volleyball, softball, and track. Her love for movement and teamwork shines through everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys reading fiction, kayaking, hiking, weightlifting, and spending quality time with her family.
Emma’s first job was at Chick-fil-A when she was sixteen, and her passion for serving others has only grown. Today, she’s a proud Certified Nursing Assistant, providing compassionate care to our residents. She says she loves working at Woodland Ridge because of the supportive staff and the sense of teamwork that makes every day meaningful.
Emma is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Kennesaw State University and taking additional classes to become a Registered Nurse. Her dedication to learning and growing in the healthcare field is truly admirable.
Her family continues to be a guiding light; her father is a pastor, and together they participate in ministry and community outreach, including hosting food drives through their church. They also love traveling together, with one of their favorite memories being a cruise to Mexico.
Emma’s warmth, drive, and commitment to care make her a standout member of our team. We’re so proud to celebrate her this month!
