CaraVita founder & CEO, Beth Cayce, has been hard at work with a host of other devoted and driven community members and organizations to help make Fulton County a dementia-friendly community. The Dementia Friendly Fulton County Coalition is a grassroots, community coalition comprised of government agencies, civic organizations, and local businesses to raise awareness and make life better for persons living with dementia and their care partners.
Their mission is to encourage respectful inclusion, access to resources and services, and compassion from all in our community. Join us in our mission to make Fulton County dementia friendly.
Beth, along with others, has recently participated in the Dementia Champions training to assist the work of Dementia Friendly Fulton.
What is a Dementia Friends Champion? A Dementia Friends Champion is a volunteer who goes through training that prepares them to encourage others to make a positive difference to people living with dementia in their community.
More and more communities across the country can use Dementia Friends Champions to help provide an inclusive and understanding place for those with dementia to thrive.
