Resident Spotlight – April 2024
Our Resident Spotlight shines on Patricia “Patty” King for April 2024. Ms. Patricia is from Americus, Georgia, and grew up with one younger brother, Tim.
After high school graduation, Ms. Patty went on to the University of Georgia, Athens, and pursued her degree in Early Childhood Education. While there she was a part of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She graduated with Honors.
When Patty and Charles married in 1967, they next drove to San Diego, California because Charles was in the Navy and was deployed to Vietnam. Patricia stayed behind in Chula Vista, a suburb of San Diego. She then came back to Atlanta and began working for the Dekalb County School System. Patty and Charles have one daughter, Jennifer, and 2 granddaughters, Hannah and Gabrielle.
The family belongs to Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where Ms. Patty was actively involved in the Sunday School and the Alter Guild. Patricia has always loved gardening and belongs to the Ansley Garden Club near their home in Ansley Park.
Here at Woodland Ridge, Ms. Patty enjoys the music, pet visits, scenic rides, and parties. She dances along with the staff during exercise.
We love Ms. Patty’s fun attitude and great smile! We’re glad she decided to call Woodland Ridge her home.
