EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT, AUGUST 2021
Our Employee Spotlight shines on Tifany Houston for August. Tifany is originally from Bradenton, Florida and grew up the middle child with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Her favorite memory from her school years was when she played on a traveling softball team from age 12 through high school. Third base was her position and she loved playing in the year round tournaments. The most memorable tournament was the Halloween one where they started playing at 7:00 pm and played until 7:00 am.
After high school, Tifany went to school to become a surgical technician. She graduated and began doing the work, but discovered she missed the people contact and decided to go into home health. Tifany has been in the medical home health field since 1994.
In 2009, Tifany and her family moved to Georgia. Tifany is the Mom of 3 boys, ages 27, 20 and 12. Her husband passed away in February, a difficult time for the family. Tifany’s middle son decided to go into the military and joined the Army. Tifany has worked for Caravita, our management company and came to Woodland Ridge in June, 2019. The opportunity to work at our front desk opened up recently and Tifany accepted the new position. She says she enjoys a new challenge.
In her spare time, Tifany loves cooking and baking as do her oldest and youngest sons. Her favorite thing to do is spend time with family at the beach. When talking about Woodland Ridge, Tifany says, “It feels like family. Woodland Ridge is a very welcoming place and comfortable. I look forward to coming in.”
We’re so happy that Tifany joined our Woodland Ridge family. She has a great attitude and is always happy to help others. We hope everyone enjoys getting to know her as she is the first person you see coming in our community.
