Employee Spotlight – August 2025
In our Employee Spotlight for August is Lorri Parsons, CNA.
Lorri is originally from New Jersey and grew up as the youngest of three sisters. She remembers taking trips with her family, the biggest one being a drive to the Grand Canyon. In school, Lorri played softball and participated in gymnastics, as well as taking dance classes from kindergarten to 8th grade.
After high school graduation, Lorri moved to Massachusetts and had her son, Jason. She worked in an after-school program as a coordinator, but realized she wanted to be a CNA. She worked in Massachusetts with that license and then came to Georgia 15 years ago to be near some of her family. Jason has given Lorri two grandchildren: a girl who is 5 years old and a boy who is 1 year old.
For hobbies, Lorri loves baking, crafting, especially decorating cups, and bowling. She also loves going on vacation to Florida, but says her favorite vacation was to Aruba.
Lorri has worked at Woodland Ridge for 8 months and is already a resident favorite for her compassionate care. She says, “I love my residents and my coworkers.”
We love her right back and are so glad she’s part of our Woodland Ridge family.
