🌟 Employee Spotlight – February 2026🌟
Gayon “GG” Morgan
Gayon Morgan, affectionately known by her nickname GG, is a valued member of the Woodland Ridge team. Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, GG comes from a big, loving family with six brothers and three sisters, and she is the second oldest among them.
GG is married and a proud mom of three boys, ages 19, 12, and 18 months. Family is very important to her, and she truly enjoys her role as a mother.
She graduated from Merl Grove High School and began her working journey as a swimming teacher, where she taught babies how to swim for three years. Her path into healthcare began through a very personal experience. GG had an aunt who became very ill and was not receiving the proper care she needed. Witnessing this deeply affected her and inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a difference. After her aunt passed away, GG went on to attend school in New Jersey to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
GG has been living in Georgia for two years and is now a proud employee here at Woodland Ridge. What she enjoys most about working here is the staff and the residents. She gets along well with everyone and truly loves interacting with the residents. GG looks forward to coming to work each day to make others smile, feel happy, and stay comfortable. She believes in treating everyone with respect and kindness, without favoritism, and takes pride in who she is as an individual.
Outside of work, GG enjoys writing, cooking, and spending time with her children. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Every Christmas morning, her whole family dresses in red, and she spends the day cooking and watching Christmas movies together.
GG says she loves working at Woodland Ridge because it feels like family, and that warm, caring spirit is something she brings with her every day.
