Woodland Ridge is excited to announce our August Employee of the Month—Gretchen Shealey!
Gretchen is originally from LaGrange, Georgia, but moved to Massachusetts when she was three years old. She grew up an only child but has two half brothers who live in Alabama.
After graduating from high school, Gretchen attended the University of Massachusetts, Boston where she studied Computer Science. Due to health issues, she was unable to complete that degree, but she did get her Microsoft Office User Specialist certificate in 2007!
Gretchen has two sons and two children, who are two and four. In her free time. Gretchen likes playing tennis, riding bikes, playing board games and card games, and crocheting and sewing. Before the coronavirus pandemic, she also enjoyed going to the movies and out to dinner.
In 2018, Gretchen got her CNA license and began working at a residential group home before coming to Woodland Ridge in September of 2019.
Gretchen says, “My coworkers are very nice and easy-going. I like the atmosphere at Woodland Ridge. There are great people here!”
