Resident Spotlight – September 2025
Our Resident Spotlight shines on Arnold “Bruce” Butler for September.
Mr. Bruce grew up in Griffin, Georgia, and has one sister. After high school, he went into the Navy at age 18. He stayed in the Navy for 21 years. Mr. Bruce had one good friend from his hometown.
Mr. Bruce has one daughter and one son, as well as 4 grandchildren, three girls and one boy, and four great-grandsons. When Bruce retired from the Navy, he worked on his land and built his own house. (See the picture) His favorite thing to do is to build furniture. Bruce is incredibly talented with his woodworking and welding, and he made some extra money selling his furniture. Here are some pictures of a few of his pieces.
Here at Woodland Ridge, Bruce enjoys going on the lunch outings, seeing the pets, and listening to music and activities.
