We are delighted to shine the September 2026 Resident Spotlight on Mrs. Lola Hardy.
Mrs. Hardy is originally from Cedar Town, Georgia. She comes from a large and loving family. Lola is one of ten siblings, with three brothers and five sisters, including one sibling who has passed away. Lola graduated from high school and went on to attend Clark Atlanta University, where she proudly earned her college degree. She and her husband, Charlie, have built a beautiful family together. They have three daughters and five grandchildren, and family is one of the most important parts of Lola’s life. She especially enjoys spending time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. She treasures every opportunity to be with her family and make special memories.
Lola is a woman of strong faith who has always been very active in church. She enjoys attending church and listening to gospel music, which have both been meaningful parts of her life. She previously worked at a flower shop, which was a perfect fit for her because of her love for flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and staying busy with activities that allowed her to express her creativity. Lola later worked for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), where she continued her career until her retirement. Here at Woodland Ridge, Lola enjoys participating in Bible study, activities, and going on lunch outings.
