Employee Spotlight – November 2023
In our Employee Spotlight for November is Keisha McClish, CNA. Keisha is originally from Sacramento, California, and grew up the youngest with 4 older brothers. She says she was sometimes a tomboy, but also the baby sister that they looked out for. After high school, she went to truck driving school because she had always wanted to drive trucks.
Keisha moved to Georgia 8 years ago. She got her CNA license in 2019 and has worked in senior care ever since. She also works as a professional hairstylist, getting her license in cosmetology in 2022 after graduating from the Paul Mitchell school. Currently, she works in a barbershop part-time.
Keisha says the love of her life is her 4-year-old son, Karter. They enjoy going on outings together to the mall, the park or just shopping. Keisha says she enjoys traveling back to California to visit family.
At Woodland Ridge since December 2022, Keisha says, “I like my residents. They’re the best part of my job.”
We love Keisha’s caring attitude and the way she makes each resident feel like they’re family. We’re so happy to have her on our team!
