First, it’s a good idea to understand as much as you can about assisted living. That way you can address any questions or concerns the senior may have when you bring up the topic.
Next, consider talking about things this senior would like to do or activities he or she could participate in that a particular assisted living community offers. When you start talking about activities in a way that makes the senior believe they are still possible to do, they will be interested in hearing more about it.
Coffee and caffeine can be a great kickstart to your day, but it won’t alleviate the stress you experience as a caregiver for an aging parent or grandparent. Assisted living might be able to help.
