In our Employee Spotlight for April is Will Trice, our receptionist.
Will was born in San Diego, California and moved to Georgia when he was just one year old. Growing up, he played baseball, basketball, soccer and golf, but loved playing tennis. He also loved to draw, especially super heros like in the comics.
When he graduated from South Cobb High School he went to study at the University of West Georgia, where he started out as an Art Education major. After a couple years he switched to Physical Education and graduated from Georgia State. He then taught in the Cobb County schools for the next 5 years. He also became a tennis instructor, getting his pro certification.
When the school eliminated his teaching position he came on part time at Woodland Ridge in November of 2019 and became full time in February 2020. In his spare time, Will enjoys playing on ALTA and USTA tennis teams, going to movies and especially loves to go to DragonCon each year.
Will is the first person everyone sees coming in and answers all those phone calls and questions. He also helps with any duties assigned by our managers and is adept at computer issues. Will says the best thing about Woodland Ridge is that he gets to work with his Mom, who is Kathryn Trice, our Activity Director.
We love having Will here for his friendly attitude and his always being willing to help everyone.
