In our employee spotlight for March is Danielle Avery our new Resident Services Director. Danielle grew up in Rock Island, Illinois in a family with 3 siblings. She went to Black Hawk College and received her LPN degree in 2007. Danielle has 3 children, ages 20, 12 and 5. She is adept at navigating all the computer needs with the virtual school her children have had this year.
In her spare time, Danielle likes to do crafts and especially enjoys creating beautiful, customized planners to keep everyone organized. These planners are so stunning because they include favorite photos. Danielle enjoys horror movies and other favorite things are Mexican food, pizza, a good rib eye steak and of course shopping, especially for handbags!
Danielle says she loves being an advocate for her residents to give them the best quality of life, putting the emphasis on quality. When talking about Woodland Ridge, Danielle says, “I love the family oriented feel. It’s warm and inviting and feels like home.”
We love having Danielle as part of our team. Her nursing skills are top notch, as well as her friendly, helpful nature towards everyone.
