Employee Spotlight – October 2025
Our Employee Spotlight for October is Omalara Sodiya, Caregiver.
Omalara is originally from Lagos, Nigeria, and grew up with three sisters and two brothers. She remembers that when they were children, her sister always wanted her things.
After high school, Omalara attended college and earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree. Then she worked in both hospitals and local pharmacies before coming to the United States eight years ago. Omalara has been married for eight years as well.
Omalara’s hobbies include singing, watching movies, and loves traveling, flying in airplanes, and going to the beach.
Before coming to Woodland Ridge, Omalara worked as a Pharmacy Technician.
She came to Woodland Ridge in February and has a gentle, caring attitude, making her a resident favorite. She says, “Woodland Ridge is so friendly and I like the concern all my coworkers have for our residents.”
We think Omalara is a great addition to our team!
