Our employees of the month for November are our 3 longest term employees, Keeta Keeton with 20 years, Paula Patterson and Anna Williams with 18 years each.
Keeta Keeton is from Decatur, Georgia and began at Woodland Ridge as a CNA. Keeta is our Memory Care Director which involves many aspects of resident care. She does everything from physically helping residents to activities and steps in with whatever her residents need. She calls memory care “Happyland” and makes sure it lives up to this name. Residents may be seen dancing, singing, laughing and enjoying time outdoors. Keeta has a special talent for helping Memory Care residents experience things like trips to restaurants or joyrides to see the surrounding area every week. People often comment on Keeta’s upbeat attitude and her willingness to help everyone.
Paula Patterson is from Kingston, Jamaica and is a Med Tech in our Memory Care neighborhood. Paula is especially adept at knowing what her residents need. She says it’s because she knows them so well that she can tell if anything is needed or just a little bit different. Paula has 2 children and 3 grandchildren as well as her dog, Neko. She loves reading, old time TV and music.
Anna Williams is from Broxton, Georgia and is a Med Tech in our assisted living neighborhood. Anna loves caring for her residents and is willing to go the extra step to see they have everything they need. She has a son, a daughter and 5 grandchildren and loves to shop or go out to eat. She’s always willing to go along on trips for our residents making sure our outings are safe and fun.
We are so fortunate to have these amazing caregivers among our staff. Their loyalty to Woodland Ridge and their upbeat, positive attitudes make them a joy to be around. It’s this continuity of care that sets Woodland Ridge apart from other communities.
