Aline is our June Resident of the Month here at Woodland Ridge! Born and raised in Lindale, Georgia (which is located near Rome, GA). Aline was a paraprofessional educator for 25 years at Johnson Elementary in Rome. She was married for 45 years; her husband worked at the local paper mill. Aline has two children and four grandchildren.
A very athletic individual, she has a mean hook shot in basketball! When not playing basketball, Aline loves to crochet, read, and sing. She would often share her beautiful voice at her church by singing solos. Aline can be seen at our Dancing with The Senior Stars event with our nurse, Kendra where she is quite the talented dancer!
A huge baseball fan of the Atlanta and Rome Braves; she was a charter member of the Rome Braves Fan Club. As a matter of fact, she used to let two Braves players stay at her house each season! Most of the players were placed in housing where there were eight guys, so that was a real treat for them.
For two years we have had the joy of having Aline be a part of our Woodland Ridge family. She is an active participant in our activities and is almost always found sitting in the living room with her Woodland Ridge friends. She has a great sense of humor and is a bit of a teaser. Even though she has been known to pull a few pranks, she brings joy and laughter everywhere she goes!
