Joy- the Faces of our Families and Residents Says it All.
By Kathryn Trice
We are open for visitation and so excited to see our families reunite. The ability for our residents to have indoor visitation with a lot less restrictions is heartwarming to the staff, residents and loved ones. This has been a long journey and vaccinations are continuing to help us all.
Nothing brings a greater tear to our eyes than witnessing hugs, touches and smiles as we see families interact up close and personally with one another. Here are a few pictures and quotes. First from Donna Harrison, “I love you Mama. It’s great just to be able to touch.”
.
Next Cindy Allen, “I can’t believe we finally get to hug. I’ve missed this so much.”
And finally, Sharon, “I’m so happy to be here!”
It was an emotional time as the Pierce’s – both the daughter and wife got to Hug Ed.
But equal to that is seeing that precious stroll that ended our day as shoulder to shoulder, Ruby and her daughter were Reunited… and it feels so good.
