Woodland Ridge is proud to announce Regenia Arnold as our March Employee of the Month! Regenia Arnold, a native of Chicago, Illinois, went to Simeon Vocational High School in the Chatham area on the south side of Chicago where she studied Marketing and Data Entry. Regenia’s ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to do the hard work is what earned her the employee of the month for March.
Caregiving is second nature to Regenia – on and off the job. Not only has she been a professional caregiver for the last 22 years, but she also took care of all the women on her block in Chicago that needed it and multiple family members, including an Aunt. Regenia has five children – two girls and three boys. Those children have given her 14 grandchildren, ages ranging from 3 months to 22 years old. On her off days, she is babysitting one or multiple grandchildren.
Regenia is also always taking care of our residents and staff. When we had a snow event this winter, Regenia offered to stay and work overtime because many of the caregivers could not make it in. We appreciated her dedication and sacrifice to help us make it through the unprecedented snowfall. When asked what hobbies she had or what she liked to do just for herself, she laughed. When pressed for an answer, she said that she likes listening to old school music from the 70’s and 80’s like The Temptations and Aretha Franklin.
Regenia is always thinking of others and putting our residents first. We are proud to have her as a part of our Woodland Ridge team! To learn more about Woodland Ridge or if you have any questions just contact us!
